Right, I agree, Alan. When we get Kennedy out, I'm going after the other quack, Oz

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

Waldon is another anti-vaxx physician who lost his way. Good that his nomination did not go forward. Now, watch out for Oz.

Alan Epstein's avatar

Thank god they pulled his buddy Weldon this AM from the CDC position!!!

Stevie Champion's avatar

He's worse than I thought and that was pretty bad!! Shame on the GOP Senators!!!!!!

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

Yes, Stevie, he is an incompetent Director and, I believe endangering lives in our country, 73,000,000 of whom are children.

And coming down the road is another disingenuous, dishonest sycophant. Oz.

Frightening

Dr. Oz too, next it will be "Dr. Phil"

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

I'll be all over Oz, a charleton who would sell Kickapoo Joy Juice for a buck.

Thanks for being one of my voices of reason these days. I was somewhat heartened to hear they withdrew Dr. Waldon's nomination to head up the CDC. However it did give me pause. If they passed RFK Jr's nomination, how bad was THIS guy?

Excellent piece Ed. Thank you.

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

Thank you, Gus. The health of our nation is in danger

Kennedy needs to go. He has no idea. Sad

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

It's getting worse

I am also a retired physician who is appalled at what RFK is doing. He has zero qualifications.

He doesn’t understand research or science .He has never served on an IRB and yet he is going to do “research” on vaccine safety. The MMR has been used since the early 60s. We would know if there were significant issues .Problems with vaccines are routinely reported and vaccines with issues are removed ( think the early version if the rotovirus vaccine and the lyme vaccine)

And lastly as a new grandmother of a baby too young to get an MMR I am terrified.

You only need to walk through an old cemetery and see all the tiny graves of all the children who died before the invention of vaccines to understand what a difference vaccines have made. And those who say well we have modern supportive medicine that can save them need to realize that having a child in an ICU is traumatic for the child and the parent.

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

Dr. Ennis, thank you. Your message is spot on. The CDC investigation of autism and vaccines is not necessary, as the bogus connection between autism and vaccines has been proven just that: bogus. The investigation distracts people, suggesting that previous studies must be re-studied. Therefore, more people will duck vaccines and get sick and/or die.

Also, we have another quack on the sidelines, Oz. Once we get Secretary Kennedy out, I'll work on him.

Such incompetents endanger the health of our population, 73,000,000 of whom are children!

As thorough and concise accounting of RFK Jr's positions thus far; BUT REMEMBER, he was

good to his Mother!

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

Yes, thanks, Jim. There is some good in everyone

RON DIPIPPO's avatar

Remember that he was approved only by the votes of all GOP senators (except McConnell) who must bear the burden and shame of putting this 100% unqualified person in charge of our collective health. Ed, you are a doctor - how much damage do you think that worm did in his brain?

Ron

How about the disingenuous, dishonest Senator, a physician, Cassidy from Louisiana? He was to stay in touch with Kennedy regarding his vaccine stance, or lack thereof.

Ed well stated! When you ignore the sciences and all the research and testing and come up with a bizarre homemade theory to cure a disease it's QUACKERY.

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

I could not agree more, Peter. That is the thrust of my research. Now, when we get Kennedy out, I'll go after the other quack, Oz.

Thanks, Tom. Rather frightening.

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

Thank you, Paul. I am worried about the health of our citizens, 73,000,000 of whom are children
