Notes of a Bobby Watcher. Episode III
Remember, in his title is Director, HEALTH and HUMAN Services
Episode III
The Mission Statemant of The Departmant of HHS:
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) mission is to enhance the health and well-being of all Americans by providing effective health and human services, and by fostering advances in the sciences underlying medicine, public health, and social services.
Here is the kind of stuff that concerns me about Secretary RFK, Jr., our Director of Health and Human Services:
I’ve taken, and continue to take, a hard look at Secretary Kennedy’s behavior over the past few weeks with the thought of giving him a chance. Let’s see how he does before I take a hard stance, even though I’m prejudiced by the fact that:
1. He is unqualified for the job.
2. He lacks endorsement from physicians, scientists, and organizations I consider worthy and reliable.
3. He is villified by his family.
4. He harbors a host of bizarre thoughts that trail him like mud on a shoe.
For example:
He has a record of dismissing the overwhelming evidence that vaccines save lives.
Secretary?
He links fluoridation, a mineral that plays a crucial role in preventing cavities, to lower IQs in children. That theory has been debunked.
Secretary?
In his post on X, Kennedy said fluoride was “associated with arthritis, bone fractures, bone cancer, IQ loss, neurodevelopmental disorders, and thyroid disease." Debunked
Secretary?
He has linked the vaccine for measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) to autism and leukemia. Disproven in a host of legitimate scientific studies.
Secretary?
How about this statement, “If you are healthy, it’s almost impossible for you to be killed by an infectious disease.” He should have made hospital rounds with me.
Secretary?
Kennedy has said that he wants to end the F.D.A.’s “aggressive suppression” of, among other things, raw milk which can carry pathogens, including bird flu.
Secretary?
He suggested the use of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, two discredited supposed treatments for COVID-19. Really?
Secretary?
He has suggested that chemicals in tap water could alter children’s gender and sexual identities.
Secretary?
. . . said that COVID was “targeted to attack Caucasians and Black people” and that “the people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese.” Really? No evidence whatsoever.
Secretary?
And now my concern grows as I watch the measles epidemic spread and The Secretary’s lack of an aggressive suggestion that vaccination is the key to stopping it.

And here he goes again . . .
In the editorial and an interview with Fox News, Kennedy doubled down on a treatment for measles: Vitamin A. “We’re delivering vitamin A.” That’s how Kennedy said the federal government is helping in the outbreak. “Also cod liver oil, which has high concentrations of vitamin A.”
Secretary?
According to the World Health Organization, vitamin A is ‘sometimes’ given to help treat measles in low-income countries where malnutrition is a factor. Most people in the U.S., however, have normal levels of the vitamin and don’t need any supplementation. Too much, experts say, is toxic.
Vitamin A is fat-soluble and therefore accumulates in the body. The more you take, the more it accumulates in organs like the liver.
Secretary?
Be careful. Kennedy’s references to vitamin A can discourage the MMR vaccine among his followers.
But remember this as stated by Dr. Katelyn Jetelina ( Your Local Epidemiologist Blog), “Falsehoods aren’t just a nuisance—they have real consequences. People may experience short-term symptom relief that masks a severe infection, delaying life-saving care. This has already happened at least once in this outbreak. There’s also growing concern about them poisoning themselves due to overdosing on vitamin A.”
In Secretary Kennedy’s recent discussion on Fox News about how our government is addressing the outbreak, he failed to mention the effectiveness and safety of the MMR vaccines. He then pivoted to vitamin A. Rather frightening, disheartening, irresponsible, reckless, and uninformed are words that come to mind.
Imagine. The Secretary of Health and Human Services, who is responsible for the public’s health, touting misguided, ill-informed treatment regimens for measles. And all the while downplaying the role of vaccination.
He’s also pushing, without scientific information I add AGAIN, a steroid budesonide, an antibiotic clarithromycin, and cod liver oil, a supplement high in vitamins A and D. No.
Secretary?
“None of those are treatments for measles,” said Tina Tan, MD, a professor of pediatrics at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University and a Pediatric Infectious Diseases attending at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.
“Measles is a virus, and there are no antivirals that are licensed for the treatment of measles.”
Here is an excerp from A.A. Milne’s Classic, Sneezles
Christopher Robin
Had wheezles
And sneezles,
They bundled him
Into
His bed.
They gave him what goes
With a cold in the nose,
And some more for a cold
In the head.
They wondered
If wheezles
Could turn
Into measles,
If sneezles
Would turn
Into mumps;
Secretary?
You’re dealing with children.
Perhaps he thought people were sneering, not sneezing, at him from the beginning. If not, they’re getting close. I'm not sure. Despite my concerns outlined early in the piece, I was not evaluating his behavior because there was no declaration thereof. And now?
What I see more clearly now is a person with warped ideas, someone disappointed along the way, someone who wants to atone for that disappointment by saying,
“See, I told you.”
We have a problem.
I hope I don’t say, “See I told you.”

Right, I agree, Alan. When we get Kennedy out, I'm going after the other quack, Oz
Waldon is another anti-vaxx physician who lost his way. Good that his nomination did not go forward. Now, watch out for Oz.
