I agree with your analysis! Do we still have US Surgeon General? What are his or hers responsibilities in this area - if any? The last one I remember of any notoriety is C. Everett Coop!

Guess I am dating myself!

Phil, good questions. From what understand, we do not have a surgeon general at the moment. I am doing further research re the role of the SG and his relationship/communication with The Secretary of HHS and will communicate thereof.

The inmates are in control of the asylum. That goes for all of Trump's picks of the best and brightest. I concur with all that has been said by rational analysts that the effects will be felt for decades. God help those who are the most vulnerable among us.

IMHO, it's frightening

All these knee-jerk elimination of jobs are wreaking havoc with people’s lives. We all know that job loss is one of the e most stressful events one can go through. Especially when done without cause or explanation! Where will all this chaos end?

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

I wish I knew. Much damage haa been done

His termination can't come soon enough. He is a blundering fool. He wouldn't qualify to sweep the laboratory floors of the people he has fired. Keep watching Ed

Tom, you are spot on. Once he's gone, I'll torture the latest quack, Oz. You know, the "doctor" who recommended Hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19

Cindi F's avatar

I wish they would get rid of him. He really does Not know what he is doing. These people are running our country and “ oh I made a mistake”. Republicans and Democrats need to come together and clean house before it’s too late.

Oh course I wish Trump would go too.

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

Cindi, Kennedy will go. I have no hard data; just a 'good', gut feeling. And the fact that he is incompetent, cannot communicate well with the public and does not communicate easily with The White House. They don't like that.

Cindi F's avatar

Hope your gut feeling is correct 🙏🏻

Hope your prediction comes true, but Trump doesn’t care how many people his false science and cavalier firings hurt people……

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

I agree, Alan..it's dangerous

One among many…. Historically his nominees don’t last the term….. oops!!!!

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

Yup, you're right

It’s so hard, cringeworthy rather to experience someone with no idea cause so much blind disruption

Their credo must be:

Just do it and sit back and watch, then:

Amend based on reactions.

And with no compassion

Someone needs to go around Trump’s Cabinet table and write an article like yours on Kennedy about every Cabinet member and, lastly, about Trump.

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

Thanks, Ned. Not sure THAT's gonna happen. But a great idea.

Cindi F's avatar

Your notes need to be sent for them to read!

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

I'm guessing they don't want to, Cindi.

Elsie C Romano's avatar

True. I guess hope springs eternal in some of us, despite previous "warnings".

Elsie C Romano's avatar

We know he makes no "mistakes" (I'm referring to King T), so he probably has more than one lackey awaiting a post. Can we hope the next one at least HAS SOME SCIENCE BACKGROUND AND MAYBE EVEN A HEART?

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

We can hope, but look at the latest quack, Oz

Peter Voccio JR.'s avatar

Yes, agree being fired soon. Trump will get a lot of pressure coming months

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

I hope so. Then what? A field of devastation has been furrowed.

Peter Voccio JR.'s avatar

Ed, very sad.

Ed Iannuccilli's avatar

Yes, and dangerous
