I also remember looking at those baby chicks at Ben Franklins. I never was able to have any, we didn't own our house. That's where I bought kites, yo-yos, paddle balls and other assorted toys. One of my favorite stores, also Benny's.

The 40's and 50's were such a wonderful time to be growing up in that area. have so many great memories that I've never forgotten and will always cherish. Happy Easter to you also.
